Higashimuki Shopping Street

Higashimuki shopping street, Nara

Higashimuki shopping street is a covered roof shopping street; shopping arcade in city of Nara. It is between Noborioji avenue and Sanjo-dori avenue, connecting two major streets in Nara.

The entrance at Noborioji avenue is next to Kintetsu Nara station, de facto main station of city of Nara. Kintetsu Nara station is much closer to Nara's major tourist attractions, Todai-ji temple and Nara park than JR Nara station which is nominal main station of Nara.

Higashimuki shopping street is relatively for tourists rather than local inhabitants and therefore popular shopping and dining district for tourists visiting Nara.
