Japan is one of the countries which domestic tours are very popular. It is hard to see a Czech group which is not a student group in Prague but it is very common to see a coach full of Japanese tourists in Tokyo.
Therefore many tourist attractions have their own parkings for coaches, even temples in Kyoto. Not only tourist atrractions but also restaurants and stores must have their own parkings. This applies to bank or clinic too.
Coach parkings are sometimes huge and may be difficult to find your buses. It is better to take pictures of your bus and its vehicle registration plate before leaving the bus.
