There is a peculiar habit or custom in Japan on 14 March. It is called White day and it is the day when men had to give presents to women who gave them the chocolate on 14 February, the Valentine's day.
It is called White day but it does not have to be any kind of white product for men to give on this day. Of course it does not have to be a white chocolate or marshmallow. The reason to be named as White day is unclear but it is told that white imagines pure love.
