Nanaco

Nanaco

Nanaco is a contactless electronic money card issued by Seven & I Holdings which runs Japan’s largest convenience store chain 7-Eleven and Ito-Yokado supermarket. Not only at retail stores but also you can use at Denny’s restaurants and other stores too.

However not like Suica or PASMO, you have to pay JPY 300 for obtaining the card. JPY 300 will not be topped up to the card. However, you will receive 1 point per JPY 200 spending and then you can use your points to top up your card. 1 point is JPY 1.

if you have smartphone with Android, you can download the application without obtaining the plastic card without any fee.
