Steak is also common food in Japan. However, domestic wagyu beef is quite expensive, many restaurants serve foreign beef, especially from US or Australia.

Then, ordering an extra sauce for steak is not so common as in Europe due to the steak are seasoned and and its juice is also seasoned too.

There is a steak restaurant chain which is almost a fastfood. There is no chair and you have to eat the meal standing.
