Medical thermometer

May be another device which Japanese have at home but not so many Europeans have.

Mercury-in-glass thermometers were major type of medical thermometer before but now it is replaced by digital ones.

Average human temperature is 36c but I assume Japanese body temperature is lower than the Europeans'. Measuring either oral and armpit temperature is the major way. Due to Corona virus issue, body temperature 37.5c or higher can be refused to enter certain areas.
