Although trend to shop in large shopping center or mall is as same as in Europe, Japanese still like to shop in relatively small shops out of shopping complexes. Especially Japanese women prefer to buy clothes and accessories in these shops called SELECT shop.
There are substantial people who does not want to wear same clothes as others. Pretending to buy foreign brand which is not known to Japanese public.
Japan is the place where you can buy tremendous types of merchandises. Not only local products but also imported items. May be it is easier to find other European brand in Japan rather than in your country in Europe.
If you are keen in fashion but do not like Japanese fashion, never mind. Please visit one of the select shop and you can find your preferable type.
